About the Event
Sharing food is a powerful way to build connections, strengthen community ties, and support community well-being. Food is not just nourishment—it carries history, identity, and meaning, making it a source of comfort and connection. Join us through food, storytelling and cultural activities to foster inclusion and understanding that helps to combat isolation and loneliness. This will be a vibrant celebration of culture and we invite you to share yours with us. Everyone is welcome! Registration is required to help us prepare enough food for everyone to enjoy.
About the Host
The Bow Valley Food Alliance (BVFA) is dedicated to improving food security and strengthening community connections through food. We convene and collaborate with local partners to work towards everyone having access to nourishing, culturally meaningful food, recognizing that food is more than sustenance—it’s a powerful way to bring people together. From supporting food access initiatives to celebrating cultural food traditions, we advocate for a just, sustainable food system that fosters belonging and resilience in the Bow Valley.
This event is a collaboration between the Bow Valley Food Alliance, Bow Valley Immigration Partnership, Ethiocare, FORM – Filipino Organization in the Rockies, Ukrainian Canadian Congress – Bow Valley, Indians in the Bow Valley Community Group, and other community partners.
